An analysis of nearly forty thousand wine lists reveals the wineries that grew their account base the most during Q4 2022.
NAPA, Calif. – Feb 6, 2023– For wineries focused on increasing their presence on-premise, the OND (October-November-December) period serves as the final push for their year-long efforts, as consumers increase their purchases around the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve holidays.
An analysis by CaminoData of US on-premise wine lists reveals the brands that grew their account base the most during OND, on a percentage basis.
Alexander Valley Vineyards led the way with a 3.5% increase over the previous quarter, buoyed by placements of its Cabernet and Merlot. California wineries represented 16 of the top 20 brands (out of the 250 most widely distributed brands included in the analysis).
Ridge Vineyards (#3 on the list) and DuMOL (#10) both employ CaminoData’s LeadRank software to determine their highest potential target accounts in each market. LeadRank then helps wineries work with distributors to grow their on-premise account base together.
